I don’t think anyone got any pleasure out of seeing that guy go down because, let’s face it, he’s already enjoyed the fruits of his theft, and if he spends his last couple of years in jail reading books instead of snorting cocaine off the backsides of prostitutes (or whatever it is rich old men do) he will live all the longer for it. On the other hand, there were few who shed a tear watching Conrad Black go to jail and have his mansions sold and his snotty wife disgraced. And Martha Stewart going to jail probably lowered the housewife suicide rate.
