PortesDaveThere are a lot of crimes which are not reported as people consider them a waste of time reporting them, even rape. There is a case that has just come to light in my city where a girl was raped and did not report it because she thought the police would do nothing about it. As for the ship listing, I think that you had better check the Liberal one, that is sinking faster that a rock to the bottom. Crime in this country is not going down, as the stats would show, it is that people are reporting less. I saw a report that crime in this country has gone up by 316% since 1962, these are the stats that are not mentioned. The figures they use are from 1990 as comparison
