The Nasty Show begins with a video tribute â actually more of a skewering â to Slayton from Jay Leno, Lewis Black, Bill Maher, Ray Romano, Don Rickles, the Smothers Brothers and even Alice Cooper. Black, for instance, wasnât certain whether the chicken wings or Slayton was the bigger draw at Hooters.
Slayton, who now has a gig and his own room at the Tropicana in Vegas, conceded that the casino work has had its benefits: âœI spend six days a week in Vegas, while my wife spends six days a week in L.A. Weâve been married 21 years â 100 with the windchill factor. Our marriage has never been better, although she did say that if she ever found out that I was fooling around with the strippers at Hooters, she would kill herself. As if the temptation wasnât strong enough, then she had to go dangle that carrot under my nose.â
